Bob Marley was a Jamaican musician, considered to be one of the pioneers of reggae (in case you didn’t know). I remember hearing this song in a Bob Marley documentary a few years ago. Here’s a clip from that doc. The clip explains that this song was written by Bob Marley because he felt rejected by his father/family. But, as Bob says in the song, “The stone that the builder refused will always be the head conerstone.” Bob became a legend and “became THE Marley.”
