Georgie Levien is a 17 year old singer-songwriter from New Zealand. In 2023 she was named in the final 40 of Vanda & Young songwriters competition from thousands of entries around the world for her song “Covers”.
Georgie recognized the power of her voice and a love of song writing at a young age. Her first break came in 2022 when she entered a TVNZ music competition called Take the Mic, recording an original song “Taking me Places” and video which placed in the top 6. Her singing style has been described as sweet and disarmingly pure and honest, and her indie folk music centers around layered harmonies. I think that Can We Start Over Again is a great example of that, with beautiful, mesmerizing harmonies. We’re looking forward to seeing more from her in 2024!
