I saw Willie Nile perform last week at The Turning Point in Piermont, NY. It was a great intimate show. He is a very talented New York-based songwriter and performer who has played with many stars throughout the years. If you ever get a chance to see him live, it’s worth it!
This song, One Guitar, was the last song he played at the show and it’s been stuck in my head ever since. The chorus has a great line: “I’m a soldier marchin’ in an army. Got no gun to shoot. But what I got is one guitar.” Peace.
