And he said it with soul.” Those are the first words of this article by Phil Carson in Vintage Guitar Magazine, which would be hard for me to beat. You can really get a feel for it from today’s song, Sweet Dreams. Or from a song of his called The Messiah Will Come Again (must listen).
A friend of mine introduced me to Roy Buchanan a few weeks ago and I’m definitely a big fan. If you like the Blues, you gotta give him a listen.
As I kept listening to this song I realized it sounded familiar. It was the song played at the very end of The Departed (watch here, spoiler alert).
