Afro B – Drogba (Joanna)

I, Jessica, was introduced to this song from a Peloton run the other day. This song is from the Afro beats playlist. This was one of my favorites! (It got me in the zone) This song title Drogba is actually the name of a soccer player from the Ivory Coast, the country where Afro B is from. He opens up and says that Joanna is a made up person, although in other interview he says “an ex, who broke my heart and now I’m shining”. He coined the term “afrowave.”
