Blake Collins – She Gives You That Look

Blake Collins is an American/British indie rock musician. Close your eyes and you may just think you’re listening to John Lennon. In addition to making music, Blake is also a visual artist (@blakecollinsart) and likes to write short stories. He actually has plans to publish a collection of short stories and writings soon. Here’s a word Blake shared with me about this song:

“I originally heard it in my head as just the refrain — while eating pasta — and I wanted it to sound like a Big Band era swing song. Needless to say, it didn’t turn out that way: I’m pleased with how it came out and that it, too, is on my upcoming album.”
