Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real is a rock/country-rock group from California. Their music is really a mix of a few genres including, according to their website, “rock and roll, country, soul, folk and R&B.” Lukas Nelson’s father is Willie Nelson, who he performs with. Lukas has also kept busy, acting as Neil Young’s band leader and lead guitarist.
