Future Islands is one of my brother’s favorite bands. They are a synthpop group based in Baltimore, Maryland, formed in 2006. They gained popularity in 2014 when their fourth album had a song called Seasons on it that was considered the best song of 2014 by Pitchfork and NME, and a video of their performance on the Late Show with David Letterman became the most-viewed video on the show’s YouTube page.
