Jane Bordeaux is a band from Tel-Aviv, making “Live n’ kickin’ american folk-country style music in Hebrew.” The group, who are self-described as a country girl and two bearded rugged musicians, started as an acoustic trio. Ech Efshar is from their eponymous debut album, and was the most played song of 2015 in Israel.
They have a soft acoustic sound and stir up feelings of nostalgia and light melancholia. According to Brendan, friend of SPD, listening to their music is like riding a skateboard through an empty city while a light snow is falling.
This song was featured in episode 17 of the SPD podcast.
