Mötley Crüe – Kickstart My Heart

I just watched the Netflix biopic about Mötley Crüe, called The Dirt. It tells the pretty wild and fun story about the band. Mötley Crüe is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1981, founded by bassist Nikki Sixx, drummer Tommy Lee, lead guitarist Mick Mars and lead singer Vince Neil. Here’s a compilation video of funny band moments. The phrase “kickstart my heart” from this song supposedly refers to when Nikki Sixx overdosed and a paramedic injected his heart with adrenaline to revive him (you can see this in the movie).
