“Ties That Bind Us” is a song by the American indie folk band Parsonfield. The song is an upbeat, folksy tune that reminds me a bit of The Avett Brothers (which is probably why this song first caught my ear). The band is from Connecticut and started as an offshoot of their university’s folk music club (at University of Connecticut).
