Last week I saw this guy perform this song at an open mic event. I was shocked at how good the song and performance was. I’m not usually that into rap music, but this guy sounds cool (kind of an Eminem sound) and the lyrics are very powerful. I went home and listened to his full album that he just released this year — it’s awesome.
The lyrics are very blunt and in your face and that’s why I like it. He talks about real stuff like depression and how he views society. As the name of the album suggests, the more of it you listen to, the more you will get to know REZ.
