Thank you, Jess, for being today’s guest host. Sam Hunt is an American country artist. Before music, Hunt played football. In 2007, he had a tryout with the Kansas City Chiefs, saying “I knew this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I needed to find out if I could take it all the way.” After that didn’t go anywhere, he took a turn for a career in music. This song was written by Hunt right after his engagement to his wife.
