The Five Stairsteps – O-o-h Child

I just learned of this group and song today, thanks to Daniel on Instagram (cool page for vinyl records). I love the vibe of this song and the lyrics that say “Ooh child, Things are gonna get easier, Ooh child, Things’ll get brighter.” The Five Stairsteps, aka “The First Family of Soul” was a soul group from Chicago, made up of five of Betty and Clarence Burke Sr.’s six children. This is their most popular song and is listed at #402 on Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.
