In 1959, the 4 male members of The Platters were charged with having sex with a minor (all were acquitted). On that note, today’s song is “Only You” by The Platters. My friend from work showed me this song today. He said that his parents used to play it on vinyl and dance to it! The Platters were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1990. They were founded in 1952 and went through multiple lineup changes over the years, earning them the branding of “Many Voices One Name.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
