The Smashing Pumpkins is an alternative rock band from Chicago, formed in 1988. Fun fact: Billy Corgan, the lead singer, was working at a record store where he met the guitarist, James Iha. Fun fact #2: The band recorded this album, ‘Siamese Dream’ in Georgia to keep the drummer away from his drug dealers back home because he was addicted to heroin.
