September by Earth Wind & Fire seems like a fitting song as we are nearing the end of the month of September. It was co-written by Allee Willis, Maurice White, and Al McKay from the group Earth Wind & Fire. The song was released in 1978. Fun fact: There is no significance of the lyrics “Do you remember the 21st night of September?” It is simply that it was the only date that felt right and sang the best (they tried all the dates).
