Last week we had the pleasure of interviewing Ela on the Song Per Day podcast. She is a Turkish-American singer/songwriter living in the Bay Area who started singing at age 6 and broke out onto the music scene during the Covid-19 pandemic.
We thought she had an Adele vibe, and it turns out this is one of her main musical influences! Her music draws from a variety of artists, inspired by strong female vocalists such as the likes of Etta James, Aretha Franklin, and of course, Adele.
