This song came on today while I was getting lunch in a hummus restaurant and I started singing the words to myself without even realizing I knew the whole song. I quickly looked up the words and remembered it was this classic by Eric Clapton!

Change The World was actually written for country music artist Wynonna Judd, but this cover version was done by Eric Clapton for the soundtrack of the 1996 film Phenomenon.

Clapton was born in 1945 in Surrey, England, and is a legendary guitarist, singer, and songwriter whose impact on the world of music is immeasurable. Often referred to as “Slowhand,” Clapton’s journey to fame began in the 1960s when he gained prominence as a member of several influential bands, including The Yardbirds, John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers, Cream, and Derek and the Dominos. Renowned for his exceptional skill and innovative guitar playing, Clapton seamlessly blended blues, rock, and pop, forging a distinctive and enduring sound.
