Herman’s Hermits – Mrs. Brown You’ve Got A Lovely Daughter

I bought a Herman’s Hermits album yesterday because it was $1.50 and my grandfather’s name was Herman. I’d never heard of them before, but now I’m a huge fan. They were an English beat rock and pop group formed in 1964 with lead singer Peter Noone. Here’s a short interview with Peter Noone. Here’s a live performance of this song and another one of their songs, called Henry VIII, I Am. Fun fact: This song was actually a cover of a song from the1963 ITV Television Playhouse tv show called “The Lads.”
