An early 2000s anthem! Goodnight Goodnight is an indie rock anthem that I had almost completely forgotten about until someone sent it to me the other day to indicate they were going to sleep.
Hot Hot Heat was a band from Victoria, Canada, made up of Steve Bays, Luke Paquin, Paul Hawley, and Dustin Hawthorne.
Hot Hot Heat gained prominence in the early 2000s with their energetic and danceable sound. The band released five full-length albums, the last being the self-titled Hot Hot Heat in 2016. The band’s style makes use of electronic and traditional instruments and has variously been categorized as dance-punk, post-punk revival, new wave, and art-punk.
