Lake Street Dive – Better Than

Lake Street Dive is an American band that originated in Boston, Massachusetts. Formed in 2004, the group initially began as a quartet while its members were studying at the New England Conservatory of Music. The band’s name, “Lake Street Dive,” was inspired by a street with that name in Minnesota, where some of the members used to hang out during their college years. The group’s lineup consists of Rachael Price as the lead vocalist, Mike “McDuck” Olson on guitar and trumpet, Bridget Kearney on upright bass, and Mike Calabrese on drums.

Lake Street Dive’s song “Better Than” is an absolute gem. It’s a fantastic mix of indie pop and retro soul that hooks you in.
