A vinyl DJ played this song in a bar last week and I loved it! I had never heard this version of The Beatles’ “Don’t Let Me Down” but loved the Jamaican vibe of it. The singer, Marcia Griffiths, is a Jamaican singer “known primarily for her strong, smooth-as-mousse love songs and captivating live performances.”
This version is great, but my favorite version of this song is a live performance by John Mayer and Keith Urban (link here).
