Masta Ace – Take A Walk

I started a Song Per Day Twitter account a couple of days ago and tweeted asking for rap/hip hop song suggestions. Twitter user Joel Markus replied with a link to this song, which he discovered during an underground hip hop phase he went through. Masta Ace is a rapper from Brooklyn, NY and this album follows a young Brooklyn man’s release from prison, his return home, and his life at “The Institute of Disposable Arts” — a school in which Ace enrolls after realizing how bad the situation in Brooklyn is.
