“Julia” by SZA is my favorite track from her 2014 album, “Z.” I think her vocals in this song are magical and ethereal. Solána Imani Rowe, professionally known as SZA, is originally from St. Louis, Missouri. She has crafted a unique musical journey, blending elements of R&B, neo-soul, and hip-hop. Her signature style, characterized by soulful vocals, has established her as a prominent figure in contemporary R&B.

Before the widespread recognition of “Z,” SZA made waves with self-released EPs, showcasing her willingness to explore diverse sonic landscapes. Her collaboration with Maroon 5 on “What Lovers Do” and the Kendrick Lamar-assisted “All the Stars” for the “Black Panther” soundtrack brought her into the spotlight across different genres. The latter, in particular, earned her critical acclaim and Grammy nominations.

Throughout her career, SZA has earned praise for her authenticity and innovative approach, bringing a fresh perspective to themes like love, self-discovery, and empowerment.
