Weezer, a rock band from Los Angeles, is most known for classics Island in the Sun, Buddy Holly, and Say It Ain’t So. Led by lead singer and guitarist Rivers Cuomo, Weezer rose to popularity throughout the 90s and slowly moved from alternative rock into a more pop sound.
Today’s song is from a lesser known (and less popular) album – Raditude – which was Weezer’s seventh studio album released in 2009. The album’s cover artwork is a photo of a dog named Sidney, originally published in the August 2009 issue of National Geographic. Raditude received mixed reviews from critics, but is Julia’s favorite Weezer album.
