The Dip – Slow Sipper

I have to thank Spotify for showing me this song today while I was working. It was one of those rare moments when I was sitting there typing words on my keyboard and stopped to say “damn, who is this?” I couldn’t tell if it was a new band or a group from the ‘60s but it had me moving. Turns out the band is called The Dip and they’re a 7-piece ensemble formed in 2013 in Seattle. Their music is a mix of rock/pop/blues/R&B/soul. Here’s a video of the band performing this song live in the studio. Watch out for the powerful voice and catchy tune.
